Crommelin Reinforcing Fabric is a non-woven, rot proof polyester fabric for use in conjunction with liquid waterproofing membranes. It is easier to wet out and possesses superior flexibility to materials such as fibreglass. Reinforcing Fabric APPLICATION PROCESS Full application instructions can be found at www.crommelin.com.au/full-instructions/ • It is essential to ensure the fabric is well embedded into the first coat of waterproofing membrane whilst the membrane is wet, and thoroughly wetted out. • Allow to dry thoroughly before application of coat 2. • Follow all instructions of waterproofing membrane being applied. Note: If Reinforcing Fabric remains visible after the application of the second coat of waterproofing membrane, further coats of membrane are required to ensure optimum film build. SIZES Reinforcing Fabric is available in the following sizes; • 100mm x 10M • 100mm x 50M • 200mm x 50M PRECAUTIONS • Where Reinforcing Fabric is used, drying times of waterproof membrane may be increased. • For areas with excessive movement such as construction joints, to meet AS3740 Waterproofing Wet Areas Within Residential ® Buildings it is essential to use a bond breaking reinforcing fabric such as Crommelin Reinforcing Fabric with Bond Breaker ® ® or Crommelin Contractor Polyurethane Sealant or Crommelin Silicone WP Plus.
