Request for Bids GENERAL BID REQUIREMENTS 1.0 SCOPE: Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement on behalf of the Clark Planetarium invites your company to provide a quote on providing eight (8) Christie Digital Projector Lamps, Model CD XL60. The Christie lamp model CD XL60 is the only lamp authorized for the Christie digital projectors in our IMAX digital theatre. No substitutions, alternate model, or after-market lamps will be accepted. 2.0 CONTENTS: If any provision or specification in the “Request for Bid” (RFB) is ambiguous or is disputed by a bidder, the bidder must notify the County Contracts and Procurement Division prior to the opening of the bids. No dispute or protest concerning the ambiguity of these specifications or provisions of this RFB shall be accepted following opening of the bids. 3.0 QUESTIONS: Questions shall be submitted through Bid Sync at www.bidsync.com. Questions are due prior to the question due date and time specified in Bid Sync. Changes to the Request for Bids document will be released in an addendum to the “Request for Bids”. Do NOT contact the Agency, Division, Department, or other County officers or employees. 5.0 DELIVERY: The unit pricing being offered must include delivery charges and be shipped FOB Destination, Freight Pre-Paid. Delivery will be the Clark Planetarium located at 110 South 400 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Delivery must be within 21 days of bid award. 6.0 AWARD: Salt Lake County may award bids and contracts to vendors through a preference system. Please refer to the preference attachment. Purchases will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor submitting the lowest cost including delivery. County will determine the low vendor based upon price(s) quoted on the attached quote schedule. Salt Lake County may reject any or all quotes if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
