The parade will make its way down 2nd Avenue to 17th Street where it will go to 4th Avenue and make its way to Pioneer Park.  Live Music from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The Chad Edwards Band will be performing from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. and plays a rockin' country show.  The Riddle Brothers will be performing from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and plays an eclectic acoustic blend of music styles that's pure Americana.  Chris Olson will be closing out the festivities with his Memories of Elvis Show at 5:30 p.m.  Balloon Artist from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.  Raffle Drawing at 5:00 p.m. - The raffle drawing will take place in the Bingo Pavilion There will be food, vendors, games, bingo, inflatables, a car show, and the St. Paul ParkNewport Lions Club's beer and wine tent for everyone to enjoy! All you can eat corn on the cob will be available with the purchase of a Pioneer Day button, which will be available at Newport City Hall, the Library and Community Center and at various local businesses in July. You may purchase a button for $3, or 4 for $10. The buttons are also used for the raffle drawing.

Through Money Mentors, selected participants work one-on-one with a volunteer financial coach for 6 or 12 months to get clear about their financial goals, breaking them down into action steps. Healthy Eating Apple & Chicken Salad Makes: 4 Servings A deliciously balanced blend of crisp Cameo apples, celery, raisins, chicken breast and Greek yogurt-based dressing, served over a bed of lettuce. Ingredients 2 red apples (such as Cameo Apples) 2 celery stalks (diced) 2 chicken breasts (skinless, cooked, diced, about 2 cups) 1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt 1/2 cup raisins 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
