Revenue Officer (RO) Navitas UK Holdings Ltd - Oxford Salary: £21,169 per annum Permanent - Full Time Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, language training, workforce education and student recruitment.

The Revenue Officer will be a member of the Navitas UK Finance Team and will be involved in the preparation and review of financial reporting processes and documents with a view to ensuring that agreed financial controls and processes are effectively operational at all times. The Revenue Officer will be expected to add value to a high energy environment with extremely motivated people and take particular responsibility for ensuring that appropriate financial policies and procedures are emplaced and that compliance requirements are fulfilled. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: 

A Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of professional accounting principles and practices



Experience with corporate financial, accounting and administrative information systems Analytical skills Ability to work effectively with, and within, a team Capacity to understand and implement internal controls and process improvements Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupation Health and Safety principles and practices Demonstrated computer literacy Effective interpersonal skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite Experience in the use of accounting specific software (Oracle, SAP, Sage, etc.) Experience of payroll reporting responsibility to staff and HMRC Proactive work habits Ability to travel with the UK The ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work, handle pressure of meeting monthly deadlines The ability to monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures

Purpose of Position The Revenue Officer will be a member of the Navitas UK Finance Team and will be involved in the preparation and review of financial reporting processes and documents with a view to ensuring that agreed financial controls and processes are effectively operational at all times. The Revenue Officer will be expected to add value to a high energy environment with extremely motivated people and take particular responsibility for ensuring that appropriate financial policies and procedures are emplaced and that compliance requirements are fulfilled.

Personal Traits As well as being a highly motivated, team-orientated person, capable of adding value to the College networks finance function, the Revenue Officer will need to be a high energy, self-starter who is able to use their initiative and be an active and productive member of a cross functional team.
