Ministry Residency Program at Denver Seminary INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Men’s Ministry Intern LOCATION: Ridgeline Community Church ABOUT: Ridgeline Community Church – located in Castle Rock, Colorado - is in a unique position as an established church with something of a start-up vibe. In existence since 1995, the church was named Heritage Evangelical Free Church until the summer of 2014 when the name was changed to Ridgeline Community Church in order to remove “old fashioned” connotations that did not fit the contemporary vision which has always characterized the church. Shortly after the name change, the long-time (16 years) senior pastor resigned (unrelated to the name change) and the long-time (18 years) associate pastor was asked to step in as the interim. After a thorough search process, our former associate pastor was recommended by a search team and unanimously confirmed as the permanent lead pastor by the congregation on March 29, 2015. During this interim phase and even more so after the calling of the new lead pastor, RCC has experienced substantial growth, creating an atmosphere of excitement and energy. RCC is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America association.
