FAQ’s How do I renew my license? Renewal notices are e-mailed in advance of the expiration date. You must certify on the renewal application that you have met the requirements of the Board. You must maintain records of C.E. The Board or its Designee may randomly audit licensees to insure compliance. An architect who is audited will be notified in writing and will be required to provide written documentation of the continuing education for the two (2) year period at issue. Who notifies the State of my continued education? It is the licensee’s responsibility to notify the State. I have extra credit hours; can I apply them to the next renewal cycle? Yes, you may carry over one year of continuing education hours from the previous year. I am licensed as an Engineer as well as an Architect, how many hours of Continued Education must I complete? Continued education requirements vary for each profession; please visit your State board’s website for more information. Are AIA approved classes accepted? Yes
