Mr. Butler passed away April 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Alton, IL on July 13, 1922 and grew up in that area until the late 1930’s. At that time he and his father traveled by bus to Santa Monica, CA to find work, eventually relocating the family there. It was in California that he met his future wife, Virginia, who preceded him in death after 70 years together. Mr. Butler enlisted in the Navy in the early 1940’s and was stationed on Okinawa, returning to Santa Monica at the end of the war. He returned to his job at Douglas Aircraft. He later went to work for the Southern California Edison Company and retired after 41 years. He and his wife relocated from Ventura, CA to Fayetteville in 2003. They raised three children, Carolyn (John) Warwick of Fayetteville, TN, Michael D. Butler (deceased) and Suzanne Olexsy of Fayetteville, TN. He also leaves three grandchildren, Denise Nichols of Fayetteville, TN, David (Edde) Warwick of Lynchburg, TN, and Erik (Michele) Olexsy of Lake Orion, MI; along with five great grandchildren. Jadan spent his early years in Tullahoma and attended East Lincoln and East Middle School. He and his family were also members of Cedar Lane Church of Christ. He was an artist and wanted to attend the Nashville Art Institute and eventually become a Tattoo Artist. He loved the outdoors and being around the water. He also loved music. Jadan was preceded in death by grandfather, Michael Jackson. Jadan will be lovingly remembered by his mother and father, Leslie and Anthony Davis of Goodlettsville. Jadan will also be fondly remembered by his brothers, Cody Anton Davis (Taylor Carnes) of Murfreesboro and Justin Evan Davis (Ashley Stewart) of Nashville; and his sister, Olivia Milan Davis of Tullahoma.
