The objective of the Student Ministry Worship Leader is to lead the worship ministry of Rolling Hills Community Church Student Ministry, while nurturing and serving the overall church body as we endeavor to fulfill the mission statement of the church. The Student Ministry Worship Leader will work under the direct supervision of the Student Pastor and report to the Student Pastor in carrying out the five functions of the New Testament Church: worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and ministry.

C O M P E N S AT I O N Part-Time Non-Exempt 25 hours per week

Live an exemplary life modeling the call, character, and competencies of a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Be a servant leader to the overall church body. Grow personally in his or her own leadership and ministerial abilities by reading, attending conferences and having godly and professional mentors in their life. Be involved in the overall life of the church body by actively participating in a small group and in all other church-wide events and functions with his or her family. Be an excited and contributing member of the RHCC staff team.

Develop and support a team of leaders to execute weekly worship experiences, including vocalists, musicians and tech volunteers. Plan, develop, and execute Wednesday night worship. Coach student leaders in leadership and spiritual disciplines. Lead weekly rehearsals . Provide pastoral ministry to volunteers, partners and guests. Continually enlist student worship/tech volunteers and raise up student worship leaders. Attend and participate weekly in Family Ministry meetings. Attend and participate in weekly Student Ministry meetings. Attend and participate in monthly all-staff meetings. Oversee and ensure student ministry areas are set-up appropriately each week. Oversee all worship production for student ministry events. Plan and develop a regular college/young adult ministry worship experience including a volunteer team to help lead that experience. Other duties as assigned.
