The Sales Officer (Student Recruitment Officer) is responsible for both admissions and recruiting. This position has the responsibility for guiding future students during the first stage of their academic journey: the pre-enrolment phase. It supports inquirers from the moment they hand in a brochure request until they enrol into a course. One of the crucial tasks of the role is to inform and guide future students in the selection of an appropriate study path based on their aspirations. Essential Criteria        

This position requires a minimum of two years sales experience, preferably in the Higher Education industry; Captivating, agreeable, friendly and engaging personality; The ability to communicate effectively is essential; both oral and written skills are imperative; Demonstrable abilities with Office suite and Mac environment; Excellent spoken and written French and English; Possess industry awareness and knowledge; Full working rights for France. Availability to work some weekends.

Desirable Criteria   

Prior experience with CRM highly valued, especially Salesforce; Previous experience in higher education environment highly valued; Experience in Creative Media sector is highly valuable.

Overview and Objectives of the Position:

The Student Recruitment Officer is responsible for both admissions and recruiting. This position has the responsibility for guiding future students during the first stage of their academic journey: the pre-enrolment phase. It supports inquirers from the moment they hand in a brochure request until they enrol into a course. One of the crucial tasks of the role is to inform and guide future students in the selection of an appropriate study path based on their aspirations. The role is key in providing support to the Senior Student Recruitment Officer in ensuring student expectations are realistic and can be met during the course of his/her studies. Further to guiding and advising potential students, the role is accountable for maintaining the student records systems (paper and electronic). As part of the Sales and Marketing Team, the position will establish a dialogue with the applicant, providing accurate information, linking applicants with the relevant department, and facilitating the enrolment process into the relevant course. The Student Recruitment Officer should recruit, enrol, and retain students for the campus through direct sales strategies such as lead call-backs, on site tours, recruitment events, etc. The role will strive to convert the highest number of inquiries (leads) into enrolments as possible. It is imperative to be able to communicate and motivate potential students, conveying a positive message on the career possibilities within the music, creative media, and entertainment industries. This role is expected to be proactive and creative, making the best use of the recruitment tools available at the campus. At the same time, the primary function would be endeavouring to always provide reliable information to applicants, guaranteeing students have realistic expectations about the course they are enrolling to. It is also a responsibility of this position to evaluate the needs and expectations of the inquiries and to detect possible trends and changes regarding these expectations and the inquirer profile. This information enables the management to decide about the need for adjustments in the communication/advertising strategy. It also provides the information for the academic staff to decide about the possible need for adaptations regarding content and delivery format.

Key accountabilities that are part of the role:

This role will work directly under the Senior Student Recruitment Officer in ensuring everyone

requests

information

receives

highlighting the advantages of a study career with SAE whilst endeavouring to connect the potential customer to the corresponding team member for accurate information. i.

Motivate and guide potential students and applicants;

ii.

Lead nurturing;

iii.

Facilitate the enrolment processes as per approved policies and procedures;

iv.

Assist in the receiving and processing of student applications;

v.

Ensure applicant's documentation is correct and complete;

vi.

Manage the communication toward applicants during the process;

Contribute to the revision of policies and procedures to improve efficiencies in admissions;

Enrolment activities and Student Recruiting events on and off-campus;

Provide high service to applicants and current students;

Transmit industry awareness and knowledge to potential students;

Coordinate inquirer follow-up at campus level;

Provide support to the Senior Student Recruitment Officer on the admission process;

Maintain CRM (Salesforce) and Inquirer follow-up systems;

Contact inquirers, motivate them to visit the campus;

Plan and execute high quality enrolment activities, such as open days, seminars, special events, etc., aimed at recruiting and increasing customer loyalty;

xvi.

Provide accurate and realistic information to prospective students concerning the program of study, policies of the school, and general expectations for satisfactory performance;

xvii.

Establish a dialogue with applicants, providing engaging and convincing guidance;

xviii.

Assist applicants with issues such as visa, accommodation, etc.

Handle all enrolment information;

xx.

Prepare admission files for all applicants. Communicate status of applications to the candidate and to the Student Services Team;

xxi.

Perform data entry into admissions database, including entry of new student intakes, tracking of application documents, enrolment documents, etc.

Follow up with students on any changes in the application;

xxiii.

Maintain records of calls made, calls received, and issues/concerns addressed;

xxiv.

Produce reports on admission status and any other relevant response as required;

xxv.

Maintain contact with current students to promote student referrals and to develop potential leads;

xxvi.

Be well-informed about academic offering, career options and job opportunities in the appropriate markets;

xxvii.

Inform management and academic staff about trends and changes regarding inquiries profiles, needs and expectations;
