Sample Support Letter Dear Friends and Family, I am writing to share with you the fantastic opportunity that the Lord has provided for me this summer. I have been chosen to serve on a short-‐term mission team to Guatemala! The team consists of Fellowship Bible Church members who will be working with Daniel Bran and Fellowship Guatemala. When: May 1-‐8, 2015 Where: Guatemala Cost: $1300 per team member. This covers airfare, food, and ground costs. Each team member is responsible for raising 100% of his or her financial support. Purpose: The first and foremost reason for going is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the people of Guatemala. We will be working with the Bible College students in Guatemala. We will be going into predominantly rural areas where we will share Christ through music and testimonies. In addition, we will organize Backyard Bible Clubs for children. It is the hope of the Christian leaders there to use this outreach to start a church. Prayer Needs: 1) For God to open the hearts of the people in Guatemala. 2) Team Unity 3) For me to be open to learn what God wants to teach me I am so excited about this trip!
