GATHERING SONG 1: Amazing Love WELCOME Beloved people of God, why are you here? We are here to be fed by the bread that eternally satisfies, and to drink from the living water of life. Beloved children of the Creator, who is it that you seek? We seek Jesus the Messiah, the Son of the living God, because we are hurt and brokenhearted, discouraged by our lives and the world around us. Beloved heirs of heaven, what is it that you desire? We want to be made new, to hear the good news of forgiveness and love once again. GATHERING SONG 2: What a Beautiful Name PRAYER OF THE DAY Creator God, you prepare a new way in the wilderness, and your grace waters our desert. Open our hearts to be transformed by the new thing you are doing, that our lives may proclaim the extravagance of your love given to all through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. READING: John 12:1-8 CHILDREN’S MESSAGE SERMON SONG OF THE DAY: The Way AFFIRMATION OF FAITH PRAYERS OF INTERCESSION . . . Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.
