School Rep Tourism

What has been worked on in the past month: Due to the winter break and me being away for dissertation research not much was happening. We as Business School reps decided to get together at the end of the month to talk about issues that have been raised to different reps as many modules within our school link and we want to work together to ensure all students are heard and we can help each other out, standing together stronger as a front in order to stress the importance of the student voice. We have scheduled a 1st and 2nd year course rep social for next month.

Successes from the past month: We as Business School Reps seem to be communicating more and better which is really great!

Plans for next month: I’m planning on getting all the 1st and 2nd year reps to the business school social event and also talk to them about Rep Forum, hoping they’ll be able to attend this as well so we can talk about anything that’s going on for them and what has been happening. I hope that having two less formal more social events with them so close together is really helping to improve communication. Also, we’ll talk about their experience as course reps and if

they feel like they could use more support in some way. I’ll also bring up school rep and course rep nominations for next year!
