And, by re­ moving the 2 kg weight under the pan supplied with Model 2256, you can extend the "weighing range" or "taring range" to 3000 grams. Each of the five models is equipped with Taramatic—the exclusive Sartorius single-knob mechanical taring system for both coarse and fine taring. Taramatic permits adjustment to zero over the full optical range; also allows you to "null out" the weight of any container up to capacity . . . with or without the use of built-in weights. Even under poor lighting conditions, you can easily read the large new optical scale on a Series 2250 Sar­ torius top-loader. Since drafts and air currents do not affect the scale, superior reproducibility is obtained. In addition to Model 2255, there are four other toploaders in the series. All offer improved accuracy/ capacity ratios as compared to previously available top-loaders. And all five • weighing ranges give you either higher capacities at a given accuracy, or higher accuracies at a given capacity. On Models 2253, 2254 and 2256, the loading ca­ pacity can be increased (without loss of net weighing capacity) by removing the standard weighing pan and replacing it with a Sartorius calibrated weighing
