SCOPE OF WORK OUTLINE Cont.d 2. GENERAL All towers to be inspected once a year. Towers shall be inspected for mechanical/structural soundness and to ensure that they remain in compliance with FCC and FAA requirements. 3. SEPTA TOWER INSPECTION-MAINTENANCE & REPAIR In additon tower inspections at SEPTA owned towers, the contractor needs to provide labor and materials needed on SEPTA or Non-SEPTA towers in the event of planned or unplanned failures, or maintenance which include lighting, wind, moisture, corrosion, age and any other damages. Contractor will also repair and/or replace any defective component on any radio system(s), which include antennas, cables, connectors, clamps, brackets, etc. At anytime contractor must be available for emergency service (24/7). 4. Lamp/Strobe Replacement The bidder shall supply prices for materials that SEPTA would be charged for should SEPTA call upon the contractor during the calendar year to replace lamps. One price shall be provided for the replacing side and top lamps (where applicable). The price is to include replacement lamps and labor. 5. WRITTEN REPORTS Upon completion of each inspection, the bidder shall submit 3 written reports along with a soft copy report to SEPTA's radio system managers listed below. This report shall include photos, a description of the physical condition of the towers, all lighting and markings, and any work the inspector advises to be done. If it is advised that work is needed on a tower contractor shall itemize each task with cost of material and labor for each tower site. The report should also include a list of all work performed by the contractor, as will as any changes to the tower since the last inspection, including recently installed antennas. The reports and invoices shall be submitted to the below no later than 14 days after each inspection.
