Geranium Horticulture Talk Wednesday, June 13, 12:00-1:30pm Family Life Center
Jim Zemcik is a Native of San Diego and an internationally known geranium breeder. Several of Jim’s plants have become the official City flowers of various California cities. In concert with Balboa Park he has introduced many plants named after San Diego luminaries. He currently breeds smaller geraniums called Angels, each named after a cartoon character in Suzy’s Zoo. Jim will be talking to us about the most recent advances in plant breeding, planting and care. Join us for this special presentation and see his newest flower: 'Duckport' Felicia Fripp, named and released in May 2018. Jim will bring samples, please RSVP to Elaine.
