Individual Pictures September 20th - 21st - 22nd Individual pictures will be taken of every child. Proofs will be sent home within two weeks. OPEN HOUSE October 6th & 7th 8:30 am - 9:00 am The Day School will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE for the parents to come in and see what children have been learning the first few weeks of preschool. This is a time for you and your child to explore the classroom together. Open House should last no longer than 30 minutes and our regular preschool program will proceed. Our teachers have been working with your children to establish routines for the classroom and the learning is just beginning. We look forward to a great year together! Please keep in mind that Open House is not a time to “conference” with your child’s teacher, but if you have concerns, your child’s teacher will be happy to schedule a conference with you at a later time. NOAH’S ARK PARADE October 25th & 26th 10:45 am - 11:30 am
Our 14th annual Noah’s Ark Parade and Family Chapel will be held October 25th and October 26th. Children in our 3 and 4 year old programs will participate in this event. Families are invited to attend this special celebration. (Children enrolled in our 2’s classrooms celebrate in their classroom.) In October, the children will be learning about Noah and the Ark and how God provided for Noah and his family and the animals. Each class will create masks or headbands to represent an animal. The “animals” will parade across the stage one class at a time. After the parade, the children will sing together on stage about Noah and the animals. After all the children are seated, Pastor Matthew will lead us in this special Chapel. This is your opportunity to experience Chapel through your child’s eyes.
