Hangers to Hems – Onalaska, WI Scott and Roxanne Suhr have been providing quality dry cleaning, laundry and alterations services to the residents of the Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota since 1995. Their modern air conditioned plant, located in Onalaska, WI, just adjacent to LaCrosse, services 7 store locations throughout the area. Dry cleaning is processed utilizing both Perc and Hydrocarbon solvents. Scott and Roxanne offered that they have always washed a lot of garments but now are also using a more complete Pariser wet cleaning process as well. In addition to overall garment processing, the Suhrs also specialize in all sorts of alterations and repairs with an emphasis on brides maids dresses. Daily production is handled by a dedicated staff of long term employees who know their craft and work to make things just so. When needed, Scott and Roxanne take a shift on the press or front counter. Active in community affairs such as the Lions Club’s Coats for Kids, and paired with their other commercial real estate holdings, the Suhrs are an integral part of the local business community.

Time For You To Go Back To School Take Better Care of your Washers and Dryers The Minnesota Chemical Co. will be holding FREE Service Schools and Vended Laundry Seminars on Tuesday, October 6th at our Menomonee Falls, WI location and on Thursday, October 8th at the Best Western Capitol Ridge Hotel in St. Paul, MN. Hours for both shows will be from 9AM to 3PM. Representatives from Huebsch, Card Concepts, Huebsch Financial and Vend Rite will be on hand. The Huebsch service school will be taught by a factory technician and will feature preventative maintenance and repair for dryers, top load, hard mount and soft mount washers. Look for special show prices on parts, vended supplies, R&B carts, and Huebsch equipment. Lunch and beverages will be served. The exclusive software allows for the basket to reach a precise G-force that “slings” the wash liquor (including water, chemistry, and soil) out of the goods after a wash step. This feature will save up to 2 rinses per load and fill/rinse time. Laundries with the RinSave feature will get more loads per hour to save you money!

SAFE CHEMICAL INJECTION Chemicals are injected in the rear of the machine (unlike certain brands where chemicals are injected near the front of the machine at eyelevel). Chemicals are diluted and flushed into the sump of the washer-extractor so that raw chemical does not come in direct contact with the linen or the stainless steel.

Tools of the Trade

Activate: Versatile, Non-Chlorine Cleaner and Stain Remover Activate is a highly versatile, powdered, safe to color oxygen bleaching agent blend designed for use as a multi-function cleaning and de-staining specialty chemical item. Activate provides the Professional Dry Cleaner with a potent soak additive for controlled stain removal in mild to warm water conditions, from a wide variety of white and colored garments, and it will also function well as an adjunct in wash loads where temperatures are lower than typically required for other oxygen bleaching agents. USAGE: For garments, add 3-4 ounces of Activate to Top Loaders, and 4-5 ounces to 50lb Front Loaders along with laundry detergent. For soaking add 2.5 ounces/one gallon of warm water. Stir to mix. Rinse with clean, cool water. Activate is packaged in 4 x 12lb pails/cases and 50lb (5 gallon) strip off lid pails.
