ACTION STEP FOLLOW UP (5 minutes) -Identify idols in your life by examining what or who your affections are aimed at on a daily basis. (Look at where you spend your time, money, and thoughts.) -Repent from these idols by confessing Jesus as Lord and turning away from the idols. -Direct or redirect your affections towards God and remember the costly grace He has bestowed upon you. **Continue the 731 Prayer Challenge this week

What do you find difficult about taking a day of rest? 6. By looking at both of these passages what are the reasons God gives for honoring the Sabbath? 7. Do you trust God enough to take a break and rest every week? 8. What do you need to do to start honoring the Sabbath and making sure you are reconnecting with God, recharging and resting? Have someone read Mathew 11:28-30 out loud. 9. How do you find your rest in Jesus?

ACTION STEPS: • Incorporate the 731 Prayer Challenge in your life and try praying first thing in the morning. (pray daily 7 times a week, pray out loud with one person three times a week, and pray out loud as a family or disciple group once a week.) • Schedule your Sabbath right now. Put it on the calendar. • Answer the invitation to rest in Jesus. (Matthew 11:28-30)
