Servant Leadership Covenant “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 •
Speech (Verbal and Written/Typed) -‐ I will strive to be honest in all I say. -‐ I will strive to build others up with my words. -‐ I will strive to refrain from damaging speech (gossip, defaming or spreading lies).

I have read, understand and agree to the above statements regarding my speech.
Life (including "virtual") -‐ I will strive to live a life of humility and service to others. My goal is to consider others better than myself. -‐ I will strive to live so that it is evident to all that I believe in Jesus Christ. -‐ I will strive to have an open life and will welcome the input others may share with me in any area of my life. -‐ I will strive to take one day in seven for the recreation of my body and soul (Sabbath Rest). -‐ I will strive to worship on a regular basis at Rock Point Church. I will also make every effort to attend and participate in RPCHSM. -‐ I will strive to honor those in authority in my family (parents, grandparents, etc). -‐ I will strive to honor those in authority in my faith community (pastors, coaches, small group leaders, etc). -‐ I will strive to honor those in authority in my school community (coaches, teachers, etc).

Love -‐ I will strive to spend time in the Bible and in prayer both on my own and with others on a regular basis. -‐ I will strive to show others the love of Christ even when I am not at Church. -‐ I will strive to care for those God places in my path. -‐ I will strive to hold my brothers and sisters in Christ accountable. If I see or find out that a fellow Servant Leader is participating in activities or behaviors that contradict this covenant, I will confront them in love and if necessary, bring them to the Student Ministries’ leadership. I have read, understand and agree to the above statements regarding love.

Faith -‐ I will strive to hold firm to the essentials of the Christian faith as explained in Rock Point's Statement of Faith. -‐ If at any time I no longer believe or want to follow the life that Christ has called me to follow, I will let the Student Ministries’ leadership know and I will step down from my position.

Purity -‐ I will strive to not engage in any type of sexual activity. -‐ I will strive to not participate in drinking or smoking or using any illegal substances. -‐ I will strive to live a life that is above reproach. This means I will leave no question in the minds of those around me that I am committed to Christ. -‐ I will strive to maintain modesty and purity, not only in "real life," but also in any social media setting.

Sin When I sin... -‐ I will not hide. -‐ I will confess and repent. -‐ I will work through my sin and restoration process. -‐ I will reengage in leading.
