Sessional Lecturer (Object-Orientated Programming using C++) - Undergraduate Casual, Sydney CBD La Trobe University Sydney Campus is operated by Navitas on behalf of La Trobe University, offering Foundation Studies, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. The Sydney campus has recently relocated to new premises under a renewed ten year agreement between Navitas and La Trobe University. La Trobe University Sydney campus is looking for suitably qualified sessional teaching staff to teach in the following areas: Bachelor of Information Technology • • • • • •

Web development on the Cloud Object-orientated application development Object-orientated programming using C++ Networks systems and web security Intermediate network engineering Industry project

Essential Skills & Experience • • • • • •

Tertiary qualifications at the postgraduate level (preferably PhD), and equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline area. Degree in Education/Teaching or equivalent professional experience Demonstrated ability and experience in delivery of classes within a tertiary level education environment. Demonstrated experience in contributing to the development of scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Current undertaking of scholarly research Strong programming skills in C++
