Please read instructions carefully before installing; failure to follow instructions voids warranty. It is the responsibility of the installer of the shower tray to adhere to local building codes in relation to waterproofing and installation. Importantly, it is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that a water tight seal exists between the tile tray and puddle flange.

Tile Tray

Cut-out floor to fit between joists

Insert noggins between joists. Insert battens to support noggins.

Tile underlay, cement sheeting.

Recess to ensure level entry Tile Tray depth = 27mm

Underside

Ensure underside of base is supported by a flat/level surface. Reinforce/strengthen substrate as required. Use cement sheeting as tile underlay. Place tray directly onto reinforced joists. A minimum of 300mm centres is required to support the Showerline Tile Tray. Add trimmers where required. Note: No requirement to 'check-in' to wall stud, due to unique design and flashing. Waste outlet void - 200x200mm (300x300mm MAX)

For installation on concrete substrate When pouring slab, box out area required to fit appropriate size Tile Tray - depth required = 27mm Ensure level surface prior to installing tray.

Trimming

One side of the Tile Tray is already 'entry level'. Use appropriate tool (eg. Stanley knife) to trim additional side/s as required. Trimming will not affect performance/durability etc.

'Laying' base

Sand underside of base, ensure floor surface and tray are clean, dry and free of dust.

Recess tray, placing it on a flat level surface. Ensure tray is fully supported as per diagram. Place base directly over adhesive and lower into position. Place 4 x 20kg bags of cement on base to ensure adhesion and leave until cured, typically overnight.

Flashing

Please note: Care must be taken when handling flashing to avoid twisting/bending and ensure correct fit. Flashing is pre-fitted in factory, however if not handled with care it may require gentle manipulation to achieve a proper fit. Silicone, then place flashing. Use galvanised clout nails to attach flashing, one per stud - ensure flashing is attached to each stud. Silicon nail heads.

Wallboard/Floorboard/Caulking Install waterproof board directly over flashing.

IMPORTANT :

Caulk ALL openings/joins.

Use suggested adhesives as per attached list.

Use waterproof tape over the caulked edges of the shower tray and the tile underlay.
