HOWARD, SAMUEL PAUL 73, Tullahoma, TN. Memorial service, 6 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Cecil Mathis officiating and military honors bestowed. Mr. Howard departed this life and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 20, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Mr. Howard was born in Shelbyville, TN to the late EC Howard and Lena Cyree Howard. He was a retired Baptist Minister and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He also was a mechanic for the City of Tullahoma, Bedford County Schools and a school bus driver for Metro Moore County. He was married on June 23, 1969 to Mary Jane Gazaway, his wife of almost 47 years. Mr. Howard, known by many as Bro. Paul, was a God fearing, Christian man serving the Lord in the ministry for many years and even talked of preaching this Sunday. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Reese, Virginia Howard; brother, Dearl Howard; nephews, Barry and Mark Shumake, Junior Howard, Jimmy Reese; and niece, Sherry Shumake.
