Regional Manager (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar) Position Details The Regional Manager(RM), located in Kuala Lumpur, is responsible for pro-actively driving agent and direct channel performance throughout Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Philippines, and Myanmar. They will take the lead on coordination of product specialist training and ensure support to all channels. The RM will take ownership of relationship management of all the agent channel partners. They will support the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan with the aim of driving market development, diversification and achieving student enrolment targets for all Navitas business units. To do this they will work closely with the Regional Sales Director, GMs Sales and Marketing and other key relationship points. The role requires a practical knowledge of marketing and sales within the international education environment and specifically student recruitment through agent networks for study abroad. The candidate we seek will ideally have the following:                 

Fluent in written and spoken English Understanding of the international education industry Successful sales and marketing experience Strong history of using CRM tools to drive business decisions Financial skills for budgeting and planning Customer focussed Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits including an eye for detail and for new sales opportunities Demonstrated and proven ability to initiate and implement marketing strategies and sales tactics which have made a significant contribution to sustainable business growth Demonstrated ability to deliver to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take accountability for decisions and outcomes Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally Demonstrated and proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate as a team player Relevant tertiary education Is an advocate of the benefits of Salesforce.com Collaborative Culturally sensitive, ethical and globally aware Creative yet analytical, organised, structured

Overview and Objectives of the Position:

Advices on progress against targets. Collaborate on development of regional marketing strategy. Used as an escalation point to resolve disputes. Takes day-to-day guidance from RSD.



General Manager, Sales & Marketing

Single point of contact for Regional Manager when dealing with destination countrywide issues.



Consulate/Embassies

Relationship building to be drawn upon in times of need to influence policy decisions



Agency Management

Commercial negotiations, target setting and performance management of accounts as determined by the RSD



Direct Sales Team

Provides “go to market” advice and in market face-to-face resources as required.



College Directors

Consults in development of strategic marketing plan for region



Senior Student Recruit Manager

Works closely with the SSRM on managing resources in region and prioritising the support and training of agents.



Divisional Recruitment Director

Works closely with DRDs to provide overall matrix leadership throughout the region. Coordinates DRDs in relation to agent management.

Heads cross channel and cross functional team for region (dotted line) and delivers on all sales leadership rhythms and reporting Personally manages Tier 1 accounts Working with the RSD to manage accounts and stakeholder relationships with Tier 1-2 agents (large markets) or all agents (small markets) Oversees the operations performance and operational and legal compliance for Navitas throughout region Oversees (with the support of DRDs) the development and provision of regional market expertise and insight Represents Navitas Group within region Leads organisational culture for region Help resolve inter-divisional differences at regional level Providing market insights and data to support Navitas and their clients’ business decision making Budget management for the region Management of team performance (enrolment growth, conversion rates, new agents & channels) through setting staff KPI’s and coaching through day to day activities Maintain and manage relationships with source country consulate/embassies
