Please make note of the calendar changes on the reverse side. Group names may have changed and some groups have changed meeting days since last year. These changes are not meant to be confusing, but to continue providing the best service we can to grieving families.
This years Grief Art Camp’s theme was “who or what helps light your way during what might be a dark time.” The kids have had a lot of fun creating their own pieces of artwork around that theme. Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered during our summer program! A HUGE THANK YOU to Mallory and her family for donating most of the art supplies for Art Camp! This young lady has a heart for helping others. For her 6th birthday, instead of presents for herself she wanted everyone to make a donation to the non-profit of her choice. She chose SKP! Thank you so much!
Bill was an amazing volunteer at the 2016 Camp Erin Tampa Bay. During one of Bill’s small group meetings at Van Dyke Church he learned about Camp Erin and felt immediately drawn to helping with the ‘obstacle course’. He did not realize how much of an impact these campers would have on him. So when co-workers invited him to participate in the Rugged Maniac obstacle course, he did not hesitate to honor all the Camp Erin campers and volunteers by wearing his Camp Erin t-shirt! Amidst crawling through mud, dark tunnels, and climbing ropes, his favorite was jumping over fire! Safety statement: do not try this at home! He still proudly has his Camp Erin t-shirt.
