Small Group Questions for the Week of January 4, 2015 The following questions are taken from the book entitled Be Rich by Warren Wiersbe. Please read Ephesians 1:1-3 1. Paul addresses his readers as “saints.” Why does Paul address his readers as saints? Note to Leader: Paul addresses his readers as saints because they have been made alive in Christ.   

Paul taught that anyone who believed in Jesus was living “in Christ.” All who live in Christ are saints. Therefore, all who believe are saints.

2. Is it helpful for you to think of yourself as a saint? Explain. 3. For Paul, living “in Christ” is a more significant aspect of your identity than living “in Ephesus” or “in America” or “in the South” or “in the suburbs.” How is your life affected by where you live geographically? 4. How does living “in Christ” affect who you are and how you live? 5. How much do you think about the heavenly sphere of reality on a typical day? What is that? 6. What can you do to gain all that Christ has for you as you study Ephesians?
