Heavenly Father, I am about to open your Word. As I approach the scriptures, I believe that you have something personal and intimate to say to me. Please clear my mind of distractions and help me to focus. May the gentle whisper of your Holy Spirit instruct me as I mine for the riches found in your Word. Amen
