ABOUT THE ROLE The Social Media Officer is responsible for Navitas Social Media Strategy, and social media accounts. This role will be steering to improve the awareness and presence of the programs in the key social media platforms. Create content to get followers engaged, and customize the content for different social media platforms. Also to monitor and manage Navitas ‘message’ across micro-blogs, BBSs, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. Defend Navitas reputation across social media channels. The ideal candidate we seek will have the following:      



At least 1-year experience at the same position required. Studies in business administration, marketing or similar degrees. Proficient in English and Microsoft Office Have high responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, and ability to work under pressure. Strong planning and analytical skills with proven ability to apply these skills to complex situations including tracking and measuring activity results. Previous experience on managing social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. Having knowledge and experience in digital marketing is a plus.

Salesforce experience Experience within the education sector, and/or experience with international education as a student

Primary Objectives of Job: 

Primary responsibility for Navitas’s Social Media Strategy, and manage Navitas’ multiple social media accounts.



Monitor and manage Navitas’s ‘message’ across micro-blogs, BBSs, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms



Defend Navitas’s reputation across social media channels.

Key accountabilities: 

Improve the awareness and presence of the programs in the key social media platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, etc



Create content to get followers engaged, and customize the content for different social media platforms.



Support running ads for Marketing’ campaign to boosts the awareness of the campaigns on Facebook & Instagram.



Respond promptly to negative comments written about Navitas, its colleges or its partner universities – as appropriate (eg, either directly, or by involving a relevant Navitas country/college manager).



Respond promptly to questions and comments from prospective students looking for a viable overseas study option – ensuring that Navitas study options are presented accurately, professionally and compellingly.

4. Qualifications 

At least 1-year experience at the same position required.



Studies in business administration, marketing or similar degrees.



Proficient in English and Microsoft Office



Have high responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, and ability to work under pressure.



Strong planning and analytical skills with proven ability to apply these skills to complex situations including tracking and measuring activity results.



Previous experience on managing social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.



Having knowledge and experience in digital marketing is a plus.
