Undergraduate Pathway (Foundation)

Social Work Duration: 2 semesters

Studied with the Faculty of Heath, Social Care and Education at Anglia Ruskin this course provides the knowledge, values and skills you will need to qualify as a social worker. The Social Work foundation does not include any practical experience, practical experience will be gained on progression to the degree programme. This foundation course has been designed for students who would wish to study one of the following Anglia Ruskin University degree courses:  BA (Hons) Social Work, Location: Cambridge (foundation), Cambridge, Chelmsford (years 1,2,3) On completion of the foundation course you will progress to First year of your chosen course.

Academic Information Where your main course begins with stage 1 at CRIC you will do the following modules over two semesters: MAC100: INTERACTIVE LEARNING SKILLS & COMMUNICATION 2 Module: Skills-based module designed to develop academic skills required for successful HE study.

You will be required to pass all modules (120 credits) in order to successfully complete the foundation course, alongside the following requirements, which you will be supported through during your foundation course    

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure Occupational Health clearance Successful Interview with social work team Pass IELTS with a score of 7.0 (no less than 6.5 in any band)
