NOTICE TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION COMPANIES INTERESTED IN PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI‘I The University of Hawai‘i is seeking qualified firms/individuals to submit statements of qualifications to provide professional services in the areas of Information Technology and/or software implementation for its Kuali systems implementations for the period commencing January 7, 2014 through June 30, 2014. The purpose of this notice is to solicit and to establish a prequalified list of firms/individuals with which the University of Hawai‘i may negotiate contracts for Information Technology (IT) and/or software implementation services whenever circumstances require. These firms/individuals must have direct experience and available staff with excellent skills in the following areas: 1.

Web site design, graphics design, development, implementation, and usability testing.

2.

J2EE application planning and development using Java, JavaServer Pages (JSP), JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library (JSTL), JavaScript, Apache Ant, XML, and related technologies.

3.

Introductory and advanced professional training services in the areas of Java programming, J2EE environments and related technologies.

4.

Kuali applications development, support and professional training, including Kuali Student, Kuali Financial, Kuali Coeus and Kuali Rice.

5.

Design, development, professional training, and support business intelligence environments using tools such as Jaspersoft, BIRT, or Cognos.

6.

Enterprise data modeling and warehousing.

7.

Design, implementation, administration and support of middleware software, including Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools.

8.

Design, implementation, administration and support of enterprise imaging and document management systems, including integration with enterprise information systems.

9.

Design, implementation, administration and support of UC4 job scheduler.

10. Design and implementation of a disaster recovery plan. 11. Information Technology Project Management. 12. Oracle, MySQL and SQL Server database design, tuning, disaster recovery planning, administration and professional training.

13. Linux/VMWare enterprise environment design, implementation, administration, support and professional training. 14. System, performance and load testing using Load Runner. Firms/individuals are not required to provide IT and/or software implementation services in all areas. Firms/individuals interested in being considered for selection are invited to submit a letter of interest and completed Statement of Qualifications Questionnaire for Information Technology Companies, OPRPM FORM 135, to: University of Hawai‘i Office of Procurement and Real Property Management 1400 Lower Campus Road, Room 15 Honolulu Hawai‘i 96822 There is no deadline for submission of the OPRPM FORM 135. The University conducts a continuous recruitment for the aforementioned IT and/or software implementation services for the period specified.
