HOW CAN I MAKE SURE EVERY WEEK IS A WIN? By getting a full mix that encourages worship without distortion or feedback. How does this ministry “reach the lost at any cost and grow them to maturity”? (our Mission Statement) We play contemporary worship music that is similar in style to what is being played on popular radio. It is well rehearsed and professionally presented to attract a non-churched audience as well as being a draw to young and older Christians alike. We use modern instruments such as guitars, drums, percussion and electronic keys. Which of the 5 Biblical purposes does this ministry fulfill? Worship - The worship being through personal and corporate worship Evangelism - in reaching out to the lost through popular media and preparing hearts for the message.

THE LEADER Pat Hunt is the leader of this ministry team. His cell is 281-851-1724 and his email is [email protected]. Can I be part of this ministry before I become a member? This is a part time staff position. Who is the pastor ultimately responsible for this ministry? Pat Hunt is the pastor over this ministry.

What am I committing to? This is a high commitment ministry. There is a 1½ hour rehearsal on Wed. nights from 6:30 to 8 PM. (You only need to attend the rehearsals on the weeks you are scheduled to do sound). You will have access to our website http://www.parkwayfellowship.com/pwteam/music/ to listen and learn your music in advance of rehearsal. The new songs will be posted no later than the Monday of the week you are to do sound. How long is this going to take me every week? You will be required to be at church on the days you serve from 7:30 to 12:30 PM plus a Wednesday night rehearsal the Wednesday before you serve. What do I do if I can’t be there? You must notify Pat by the Monday before the Sunday you are scheduled to do sound so he can find a replacement for you. What if I have a friend that wants to join the sound team? Auditions are held on an individual basis. You must contact Pat Hunt for an audition.

THE PROCEDURE What do I do? To be at the sound booth at 7:30AM for a rehearsal on the Sundays you are scheduled to do sound. Following rehearsal you will be doing sound for 3 services starting at 9 AM and ending no later than 12:30 PM. The 3 services are 9, 10:15 and 11:30. The worship part of the service covers the first 20 minutes of each service. You will need to be at the sound board for the entire service. You will be doing sound for the sermon intro as well as any other pastors speaking on stage and any other videos that might be used during a worship service. Before the 1st service you must check all batteries on the remote speaking mikes to be sure that there is enough power to get through 3 services. The band will come back up for one final song after the message. After the service you will need to make sure that music is playing in the worship center as well as the foyer and outside. The computer tech will feed you the music. Your attention must be on the stage at all times while you are serving. You will be required to head toward the sound board when the 10 minute countdown begins. You need to be ready to do sound at 6 minutes before the service begins. The band plays the opening song before the service begins. A service outline will be provided as a guide to help you through each service (following page). There will be a period of training before you will be allowed to run sound at our services. Cue to leave the campus You will be dismissed at 12:30. You will be required to be at the sound board through all three services.

Resources Everything is provided for you. You will be doing sound on an Allen Heath 48 channel mixer. All you need to do is be on time with a smile on your face and a great attitude.
