Splat the Cat! Snowflake! In Splat the Cat: Blow, Snow, Blow, Splat is so excited about winter that he tries to make his own snow! Below are instructions on how to make your own paper snowflake! Remember—always ask permission from an adult before using scissors.

Supplies: Paper • Scissors

Fold your piece of paper in half so it makes a triangle. If you have excess paper on one side, use scissors to cut it off.

Fold the paper in half again so it makes a smaller triangle.

Open up your paper, and you will have a unique snowflake. Try hanging it on a window for all to see!

Use the scissors to cut sections out of the triangle along all sides. Remember to leave part of the folded edges together!

If you are looking for more ways to create a snowflake, try using different colored construction paper. You can also cover the snowflake with glitter to make it sparkly!
