Studies with Anne Graham Lotz Daniel Prayer Vision of His Glory Heaven Anne unpacks the prayer he prayed in Daniel 9. Unlike the everyday now-I-lay-me-downto-sleep kind of prayer, this was a prayer birthed under heartache. . . grief. . . desperation. It was a plea for Heaven to move and change his nation. What about our nation? “Vision of His Glory” is much more than a study of prophecy, Lotz’s passionate and practical exposition of the Book of Revelation looks into its awesome imagery to reveal a majestic picture of Jesus in all his glory. You will discover that Jesus is your only source of true hope, comfort, and courage for the future. In her study “Heaven”, Anne reminds us that Jesus promised us, "In My Father's house are many rooms...I am going there to prepare a place for you." Amid the turbulence of today's world, we cling to the hope of a heavenly home where we will be welcomed into eternal peace and safety. Anne affirms that Heaven truly is the home of your dreams: a home of lasting value that's fully paid for and filled with family, where you will be wanted and welcomed. Best of all, Heaven is a home you are invited to claim as your own. Nancy Condliff & Maggie Brady Wednesday mornings 9:15-11:50 January 10-May 9 Books: $20 Childcare available

A Study on Prayer with Cynthia Heald

Becoming a Woman of Prayer AND Becoming a Woman Whose God is Enough "Prayer does not fit us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work." ~~Oswald Chambers. Prayer is our response to God’s invitation. So often we think of prayer as something we do to break through to God-to get His attention and to get Him to listen to us. But intimacy with God is His idea. He has taken the initiative, and prayer is His gift to us. It is an opportunity for us to respond to His invitation to intimacy by calling, crying, and singing to Him. Prayer is our response to the One who has called out to us and desires to be in a relationship with us. In Becoming a Woman of Prayer, Cynthia Heald will encourage you to respond to God’s invitation to deeper intimacy with Him.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” ~~Jeremiah 33:3 No matter what a woman’s age, circumstance, or level of spiritual maturity, Becoming a Woman Whose God is Enough comes alongside and helps her lay aside her burdens and embraces the person she was created to be. As a woman grows toward peace with God, she will grow in the joys of loving others, waiting on God with hope, and trusting Him fully. You can be encouraged to respond to God’s invitation to deeper intimacy with Him. This Bible study helps women discover that God is enough. He is a mighty God, and He longs for His people to plumb His depths and be blessed by who He is. Marsha Kallander Wednesday mornings 9:15-11:50 January 10 – May 9 Books: $15 Childcare Available

II Corinthians

A Cole Ministries Study “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 Strength in weakness. This is the central message of 2 Corinthians. Throughout the letter Paul turns upside down our natural expectations of the way life works. Contrary to the way the world and our own human hearts naturally function, God takes what is low, despised, and weak to accomplish his purposes. Second Corinthians tells us that comfort comes through affliction, sufficiency through insufficiency, life through death, blessing through suffering, salvation through grief, abundance through poverty, and boasting through hardship. Weakness is not good in itself, yet it is God’s chosen means of displaying his grace and glory and power. This study on II Corinthians will be accompanied by the “book I wanted to write above all others. It deals with the heart of the gospel, the most important truth contained in the pages of Scripture” – Ray Stedman. “Authentic Christianity” proclaims the most liberating secret in all of Scripture. Jesus died for us so that He might live in us. That’s a life big enough to carry the loads-strong enough to face the demands. A life so attractive and compelling that men and women are drawn to see its Source. Carol Haines & Gina Riffel Wednesday mornings 9:15-11:50 January 10 – May 9 Books: $20 will include “Authentic Christianity” by Ray Stedman Childcare Available
