Yard of the Month Program

The Stage Run BOD has approved the creation of a Yard of the Month program, but we need volunteers to help run it.  The Yard of the Month program is intended to inspire residents of the Stage Run to take pride in the appearance and upkeep of their yards and the exterior of their homes and to improve the appearance of our community by promoting well-kept yards.  One winner each month will receive a gift card from Lowe’s Home Improvement and will proudly display a “Yard of the Month” sign in their yard for the entire month.  An announcement will also be posted in the Stage Run Newsletter.  Every homeowner is invited to participate. Guidelines and criteria are as follows: (1)    Healthy lawn, neatly mowed and edged (2)    Pruned and trimmed shrubs and trees (3)    Minimum weeds in lawn and flowerbeds (4)    Use of color and texture  (4)    Yard free of debris and clutter (5)    Overall curb appeal Each yard will be limited to winning the award only once in any calendar year.  Only the front yards as viewed from the street will be judged.  Winner must be in good standing with the Stage Run Homeowners Association.  Members of the Stage Run Beautification Committee and/or HOA BOD will judge, determine, and select the Yard of the Month. Again, we need at least 2 volunteers to help with this program.  Talk to your neighbors about working on this as a team.  If you are interested, please contact Bill Vogl at (210) 393-4130 or [email protected]

Important Information

Regarding Our Community Pool Over the past couple of weeks we have had our pool vandalized by several teens causing a large amount of damages to chairs and a table. Six (6) chairs were sliced with a knife, the umbrella was broken, and two (2) tiles on a table were broken and thrown in to the pool. (See Photos) Numerous beer cans were littered around the pool area. We have pictures of the kids on our ADT cameras and we also have the suspected vehicle’s plate number and make/model/color. We believe the teens live in Stage Run or the Two Creeks Subdivisions. All information has been sent to SAPD to investigate. If found guilty, these individuals will be prosecuted for the damages and for trespassing. If you know of anyone driving a late model Ford extended cab dark green truck, please contact the HOA Board or SAPD. We as a community need to keep our neighborhood safe from vandalism! To help combat the increase in vandalism we have had, the HOA Board is installing motion lights to increase the lighting in the area and help stop this destructive behavior. (Continued on Page 3)

Community Pool - (Continued from Cover Page) Video surveillance is on at all times. Any and all support from the community in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Please Do Not Open The Gate Pool to individuals without a pool key at night, which is when recent vandalism has occurred. Most youngsters when asked to show the pool key will realize they are in the wrong and leave. Thank you again, HOA Stage Run Board of Directors
