Join SALT! (Student Activities Leadership Team) Thank you for your interest in being a part of our team! We are looking for students that know how to have fun with lots of ideas and are willing to take initiative and work hard. As a member of SALT you’ll get some amazing benefits! Here are some of the things that you’ll have the opportunity to do:  

    

Get the inside scoop on what activities will be happening on campus Help decide what activities we will do! o For example, helping to decide:  the theme for the Homecoming dance  activities for Winter Solace  what freebies should be given away at sporting events  what intramurals we will do  t-shirt design for Mud Pig Day and Homecoming  what other big event like BC’s Got Talent and the Dating Game! Network and make connections with local businesses and other departments at the College Develop event planning skills (great for your future resume!) Get outside of your box and connect with all kinds of people Possibly meet local celebrities Work on a team of amazing people!

Bluefield College’s Student Activities Leadership Team is open to all students. Characteristics considered important for Student Activities Leadership Team members include:         

Ability to relate to and work well with a variety of people Ability to be creative and innovative with activity ideas and how to execute them Leadership experience A keen interest in professional and personal development Understanding of team dynamics and the ability to work effectively with groups Ability to interpret student concerns and interests Dedication/hard work High energy/enthusiasm Positivity
