Student Assistance Applications are due April 15th and can be found on our website at the bottom of the How to Apply page within the Admissions tab. The next Book Club meeting is in the library Wednesday, April 17th from 3:15 to 4:00. Mrs. Barnes is excited to announce the book for April is Richard Wurmbrand: Love Your Enemies from the Christian Heroes: Then & Now series. This book can be purchased in the library for $5 and will make rich Spring Break reading! Please RSVP to Mrs. Barnes by Monday, April 15th. Questions? Please contact Mrs. Barnes.

It's spring book fair time! Help celebrate literacy with our spring Blue Ribbon Book Fair, Books Take You Places! Blue Ribbon offers a wide variety of books, including a Parent's Picks section, at up to 75% off retail. The book fair will be open before and after school April 4-10. We need volunteers to assist shoppers during these times and on Portfolio Night April 9. No experience necessary! Please let us know if you can help by using this SignUp Genius. Thanks in advance! Questions? Contact Mrs. Barnes.

The Cornerstone apparel store is now open! There are lots of items that haven't been offered before from shoes to shorts, so take a look. This will be your last time to order until August. Shop here by March 27.

Need smaller-sized Cornerstone apparel? Get youth and toddler sizes down to 2T! Order those here by March 27.

While Cornerstone is blessed to be hosting the IESA Solo and Ensemble Contest for grades 5-8 on Saturday, April 6th, this is a big event (about 600 participants) that requires lots of volunteers. There are many different jobs in short two-hour slots that still need to be filled by both students and adults alike. Please look over the signup and consider how you and your family might be able to help! No experience necessary. Join us for a great night at the movies Friday, April 5th at 7:00 PM! A premier showing of The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan will be brought to Cornerstone before it even hits the theaters. First published in 1678, The Pilgrim's Progress is the most famous Christian allegory still in print, and has sold more copies than any other Christian book, second only to the Bible. Watch the trailer here!

The $500 tuition deposit and Enrollment Contract are due May 1st. This secures your student’s place for the fall. Questions? Contact Mrs. Mettrick in Student Accounts.

Please be aware our track team uses the parking lot for practice during non-school hours. Proceed with caution, and keep yours eyes open for them!

Word of mouth through current Cornerstone families is the best way to introduce new families to Cornerstone. The “New Family” Referral Program awards both a referring Cornerstone family and the family they refer a one-time $500 tuition credit when the new family enrolls and attends Cornerstone Christian Academy. Details about this program are available on our website.

Cornerstone is starting an exciting new International Homestay Program for international students! While international students have been enrolled at Cornerstone for many years, it is our desire to establish a more formal program. This includes actively seeking international students to attend Cornerstone and housing them with Cornerstone families. We are currently working towards putting the necessary pieces in place to be able to receive these students this fall! One of the major pieces is finding families to host the international students. If the idea of hosting an international student interests you, please contact our International Students Coordinator, Sean Larsen, for more information. Be sure to check out the online donation option on our website! Go to Giving Opportunities in the Support CCA tab.

Portfolio Night will be held Tuesday, April 9, from 6:007:30 PM. Parents, family, and friends of students in Early Ed through 5th grade are invited to visit classrooms in an “open house” format to view student portfolios. We are excited to gather together to view and celebrate our students’ accomplishments. Our annual art show and book fair will also be this evening. (Please note, there

will be no Lower School tutoring this night.)

As part of our Jerusalem 1:8 project, our high school students will be serving our community Friday, April 5th. Please refer to the information provided by Mr. Parker regarding details of each grade. Questions? Contact Mr. Parker. Congratulations to sophomore Quinn (L) and freshman Ridge (R) Willard for qualifying for the Illinois Top Times Track and Field event tomorrow at 5:00 PM at Illinois Wesleyan. Well done, Cyclones!
