Wheaton Christian Grammar School 2018 Summer Reading Program

Students Entering 2nd & 3rd Grades Students entering second and third grade are encouraged to meet their grade level reading goal of 15 hours or more during summer vacation. This can include independent reading, books read aloud by a parent/caregiver, or audiobooks. As a guideline, we would encourage students to do at least half of the hours as independent reading, but will accept any type of reading. Successful readers will be awarded a WCGS Spartan dog-tag, a gift bag including a coupon for a free Culver’s frozen custard, and a free book during the Summer Reading Celebration at the WCGS library on Friday, August 24. We hope you will pick up a book and blast off and read! Guidelines for Second and Third Grade Readers: Meet your reading goal of 15 hours or more.
