Newsletter Adventure For The City Kids Camp!
 July 16-20, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

VBS/VBX 2018 June 12-15, 8:30 am to Noon Kids 5 years (by Sept. 1) to 5th grade will venture onto an uncharted island where they will survive and thrive in this year's Vacation Bible School. Some of the highlights of our VBS Program include engaging Bible stories, incredible worship music, snacks, games, crafts, science experiments, skits, and VBX which is an amped up VBS program created just for our preteens! We would love for you to be apart of an experience that anchors kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life's storms! Glorieta is partnering with our church to bring Christ-centered programming to our very own city! Campers will experience just about everything Glorieta has to offer - from rock climbing to archery tag to soaking-wet water activities supervised by the world’s most energetic counselors. For one week, they’ll worship with friends, explore God’s unchanging Word, and learn what it means to be a kid who follows Christ. Camp is for kids who have completed Kinder-5th Grade. Cost is $185 per child with a special gift for everyone who registers by June 16. Invite your friends and come ready for an amazing week! Childcare will be available until 5:30 pm for all kids signed up for After Camp Care. After Camp Care is $5 a day per child and must be paid in full before camp starts. Kids who have completed 4th and 5th grade will be promoting into our Bridge 56 class in the Fall. To help welcome and celebrate these preteens, we will have a kick-off retreat here in San Angelo. We will make some good memories through Bible story, worship, team building, swimming, and lake activities. We will meet at the church on Tuesday, July 31, at 11:00 am. Students will serve in our Kid’s Eat Free summer feeding program to kick-off our time together. Pick up will be at the church on Wednesday, August 1 at 4:00 pm. More detailed information about the retreat will be mailed out soon.

Grab your limited edition 40th Anniversary Southland T-Shirt to help provide scholarships for Kid’s Camp! Shirts come in 4 different colors in both adult and children’s sizes in the soft Bella Canvas fabric. Adult sizes are $20 and children’s sizes are $15. Shirts will be on sale before and after the service in the foyer and on Wednesday nights during Double Dollar Dinner.
