SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our vision is to mobilize the next generation of world changers by providing an opportunity for interns to develop character, calling and competency as they participate in the mission of St. John Church.
WHERE | St. John (Soon to be Pathfinder Church), Ellisville, MO. FOR | Incoming college sophomores through 2019 college graduates. DATES | May 20, 2019–August 2, 2019 (option for a week unpaid vacation) PAY | Intern will be paid $10.50 per hour and may choose to seek educational credit. HOURS | 28 hours per week typically working Sunday 8:30am–12:30pm, Monday/ Tuesday/Friday 8:00am–3:00pm and Wednesday 8:00am–10:00am and the remaining hours as needed.
Areas of Internship Available KIDS MINISTRY
Will assist in preparation and implementation of Sunday programming, and serve on the leadership team as a director of VBS on June 17–21, 2019.
STUDENT MINISTRY
Will invest in the relationships with students in grades 6–12; taking part in event preparation and implementation and may have opportunities to teach. Must be available to attend the High School mission trip July 21-27, 2019.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Will include focused learning in worship planning, worship leading, worship technology, and music theory.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT / MISSIONS
Will help our church connect with the community through projects such as the 4th of July event; will aid in the planning process of summer mission trips; will help carry out our hospitality values on Sunday mornings.
DIGITAL MARKETING
Will enhance church’s online visibility; will design marketing, social media, and email campaigns; will create stories, video, and photos for website and social media.
