The Staff Accountant is a part of the finance team that helps to ensure good stewardship of financial resources by implementing efficient policies and procedures. The Staff Accountant is responsible for processing for accounts payables, cash receipts and deposits, and journal entries. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred with a minimum of two years related accounting experience; or five to seven years of direct accounting experience. Christmas in July On Sunday, July 26, the Eastern Star Church family will have the opportunity to bless financially Day Early Learning Center in special “Christmas in July” envelopes. Eastern Star Church has partnered with Day Early Learning Indiana, the oldest and largest non-‐profit provider of early care and education in Central Indiana. They serve more than 1,350 children (ages six weeks to six years old) per year and believe that all children, regardless of a family’s income, should have access to the highest quality of care. They offer infant, toddler, and preschool care and education. We congratulate them today. FIT 4 Ministry FIT 4 Ministry is offered this Tuesday, July 21, 6:30 p.m. -‐ 8:30 p.m. at the Main Campus in room J309C. This class helps students understand their spiritual gifts and where they can be used at ESC. Students visit churchgrowth.org, complete a Free Spiritual Gifts Assessment, and bring the results to class.
