SUNDAY, JULY 19, 2020 JOIN US FOR ONLINE WORSHIP
This Sunday we will continue with our series “PRIVILEGE AND PROMISE: THIS IS AMERICA”. We will follow the worship service with a ZOOM conversation about the sermon. All are welcome to participate. Please see item #5 for details and instructions. Yes, we are still worshipping online!! We continue to exercise care for one another and are quite aware that congregations around us are already opening their doors/ gathering for worship. There are several challenges for us that make that step a little more difficult and involved. We will continue to limit our gatherings to 50 or less with appropriate social distancing and wearing face masks when in public with others. We are continuing to work on our guidelines that we will all need to follow to respect and guard the safety of all persons. Please continue to be patient with us as we continue to work on this. 1.) First, make sure that your YouTube app is ready. It is available on your Smartphone, computer/laptop, Smart TV, etc.. Go to the Woodridge UMC page. Or you may try this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC55h6W4msRxu83x5DvGquoQ 2.) Join us early to make sure that you are properly logged in and have the volume set for your preferences. We will start music playing, prayer concerns and announcements rolling around 9:50 a.m.. Worship service starts at 10:00 am.. 3.) An order of worship is attached for you to follow along and participate. If you have printing challenges, there are a few copies in the mailbox outside of the church office. Please feel free to pick one up. Sing along as loud as you wish and read along with the responses. This will help you to feel more connected with others. 4.)

[email protected] no later than 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Beginning this week, all prayer concerns will be shared prior to the
prelude at the very beginning of the broadcast. They will then be shared with our Prayer Ministry Team by Monday morning.
5.) Following the worship service broadcast Pastor Dave and I will host a time to discuss the sermon for approximately 45 minutes. The conversation will be held on ZOOM. [email protected]. Full assistance will be available prior to 10:00 am on Sunday morning. After 10:00 am, assistance becomes limited. If you are not available at 10:00 am or cannot get the live streaming to work, a recording of the video will be posted to the Woodridge UMC YouTube page. 7.)
