(Romans 6:23 & 3:23 / 1 Corinthians 6:11 / Colossians 1:14 / Ephesians1:4 / 2 Corinthians 5:18) Five Life-changing Ingredients of My Remarkable Redemption: Ingredient 1: The redeemer of this redemption. (Ephesians 1:6) Ingredient 2: The redeemed of this redemption. (Ephesians 2:1-3) Ingredient 3: The ransom of this redemption. (Ephesians 1:7a / 1 Peter 1:18) Ingredient 4: The result of this redemption. (Ephesians 1:7b-8) Ingredient 5: The reason for this redemption. (Ephesians 1:9-10) My present and future, fascinating, forgiveness in Christ, means I can practice for eternity now. Personal Application – Study Questions: • Read 1 Peter 1:18 and consider where you could be today were it not for that grace. Then praise God in prayer for where you are today. • Think about an example in your walk with God where he “lavished” His grace on you, and how that made you more wise to serve Him. • In light of God’s eternal purposes, what are some things I can do, say, or think this week – that could reflect well on God both here on earth and for all eternity?
