Sunday Sermon Notes: September 03, 2017 I. My days are God’s gift to me. How I use them is my gift back. – Psalm 139:15-16 • •

God is eternal – I’m not. Each day of my life is a gift!

II. My Opportunities are God’s gift to me, so I’ll use them with wisdom. – Ephesians 5:15-16 • •

The Way You Walk Tells something about you I’ll use my opportunity to live with wisdom by seeking: 1) A changed character 2) A changed approach to how I spend time since the days aren’t mine in the first place! 3) A changed perspective of others. 4) A changed future.

III. My days of struggle are In His Hands, so I’ll Trust God confidently. Psalm 31:14-15 •

He knows my times of pain. . . .and shares them with me. "I have surely seen the affliction of my people . . . and have heard their cry" (Exodus 3:7). "In all their affliction he was afflicted" (Isaiah 63:9). His faithfulness to me extends through all my days - "I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands" (Isaiah 49:15–16). "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” (Psalm 23).
