Sustainability Policy Rixonway Kitchens recognises its obligation to sustainable working practices and is duly dedicated to the preservation of the surrounding environment. The Company aims to continue in its drive to increase the sustainability of the business, its products and its services. The Chief Executive is ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy, and specifically to: • Comply with, and exceed where practicable, all applicable industry legislation, regulations and codes of practice. • Initiate a training programme for new and existing employees to promote the implementation of sustainable working practices at work, at home and in the wider community. •

Ensure sustainability is placed at the core of the Company’s growth and development strategy.



Continue to provide, and actively promote, the Company’s national kitchen recycling service.



Strictly adhere to the guidelines as dictated by the ISO14001 management system.

• Continue to meet and exceed the sustainable guidelines as stated within the Company’s ethical and environmentally conscious Procurement policy. • Continue to regularly audit the working practices of the entire supply chain to ensure sustainable working practices are implemented. •

Continue to reduce waste production throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.



Reduce and offset the adverse effects created during the transportation of finished goods.

• Educate the wider community and trading partners about the importance of sustainable working practices on the preceding generations. The policy is issued and explained to all employees and copies are prominently displayed throughout the premises. All staff are fully trained in the meaning, implications and importance of this Sustainability policy. Rixonway Kitchens are committed to continually review its Sustainability policy, its business practices and its impact upon the surrounding environment.
