Serve Midweek Family Dinner – We will be having family dinners every

Sunday, October 18th at 6:00 p.m. Come out for a great time of fellowship, and learn something new about our mission program, as well as the 2016 Work and Witness trip! All ages are invited, and the nursery will be available.

Wednesday from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. in Moss Hall. These meals will be offered for $3 per person, maxing out at $10 per family. We hope this will make it cheap and easy for your family to have dinner before our Growth Classes on Wednesday nights.

Prime Time/Grandparents Day at ONU – On Thursday, October 8th, Olivet Nazarene University will be hosting Prime Time Day. This event is from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and features TaRanda Greene from the Bill Gaither Video Series and the Brooklyn Tabernacle choir, as well as General Superintendent Emeritus, Dr. Stan Toler. Tickets for the Prime Time Program cost $24 per person, and include lunch and a special memento. Registration is available online at www.olivet.edu or by phone: 815.928.5791 If you have a grandchild at Olivet, you can also participate in Grandparents day for an additional $12 per grandparent and $7.50 per grandchild. This includes dinner and a greeting from Dr. John C. Bowling, President of ONU.

Women’s Ministries Opportunities – M & M Fundraiser – It’s time for the annual M & M fundraiser to support Women’s Ministries! Stop by our table in the foyer to pick up your canister by Sunday, October 18th and receive your M & M treat as a thank you for supporting Women’s Ministries this year! Through the Decades – Yes, it is finally time to don your favorite outfit from your favorite decade (1920’s-1980’s), and hurry on down to the gym for a step back in time on Friday, October 16th at 7:00 p.m.! We are so excited to be able to offer this event after postponing last February due to weather. Don’t have an outfit? Don’t let that stop you from joining us as we walk through the decades of fashion, games, food, movies, and memories! Bring your yearbook or a favorite photo from the past to display at the memory table. This is a free event for all gals from 12 – 102. Bring a friend!

You should be receiving a take home paper with family discussion questions in order to continue the conversation at home. Be sure to grab that paper this week, and have a follow up faith discussion with your child!

Connect KidConnect – Wednesday evenings at 7:00! Be sure to get your kids involved in this midweek program as soon as possible!

Lunch with Pastor Leslie – Pastor Leslie is planning to eat lunch with our OFCN Kids at Emerson and Central Elementary Schools once or twice a month. If you would like for her to eat with your child, please send a note into the school giving your child permission to eat with Pastor Leslie Davies any days she might be there throughout the 2015-2016 school year. Thank you!

Serve This year we will be serving the people groups that are near to the heart of God according to Matthew 25:31-46 and James 1:27 (the hungry, thirsty, naked, prisoner, sick, widow, and orphan). At the end of this month, we will begin supporting an orphan through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.

District Lock-In – On Friday, October 23rd, we will be going to the 3 Mile Project in Grand Rapids to join 300 fellow teenagers from across our district for a night of pure adrenaline!
