Micronized extenders and relatively higher emulsion content makes this primer ideal for premium matt, silk or gloss emulsions. Previously Coated
The surface to be primed should be well cured. Ideally the moisture content of the plastered walls should be less than 16% and pH should be between 8 & 9. The surface to be painted should be free from dust, grease, oil and should not be flaky. Primer is required only where the previously painted surface is removed exposing the bare surface. In case where multiple maintenance or overcoating has been done, it is best to remove all previous coatings to come to the barest surface possible. In case the surface is infested with mould or fungus thorough cleaning followed by treatment with an anti-fungal solution is recommended. The surface treated for fungus or moulds should be thoroughly washed, dried and mopped prior to application of the primer.
