Creates an attractive matt appearance. Fast drying and very easy to apply. Excellent obliterating power. Very good appearance in 2 coats on breeze blocks, bricks, asbestos-cement,etc. TYPE Acrylic resin with carefully selected pigments containing glass bubbles.

Technical Data

DRYING TIME 1 to 2 hours to BS3900 part C2 under normal conditions of temperature and humidity. Recoatable after 2 to 4 hours. This paint will not thoroughly dry at temperatures below 5°c or under very humid conditions. SPREADING CAPACITY 10-14 sq. metres per litre on smooth, non-porous surfaces. On breeze blocks, which due to their texture have a very large surface area, the covering will appear to be less. FLASH POINT Non Flammable. NON VOLATILE CONTENT (Varies slightly with colour) By volume 45% nominal By weight 51% nominal THINNERS AND CLEANING SOLVENT Water. Protect from frost. LEAD CONTENT All products in this range are manufactured to no added lead formulations COLOUR RANGE White Magnolia Stock Container Sizes

Processes

PREPARATION The surface to be painted should be clean, dry and free from grease, dust, dirt, peeling or loose material or any other contamination. Hard glossy surfaces should be well rubbed down to provide a good key. On new but dry plaster concrete or building boards:- fill cracks, nail or screw holes and sandpaper flat any uneven areas. Seal screw and nail heads or other ferrous metal fastenings etc. with an Anti-Corrosive primer, oil or alkyd based paint or varnish. Treat any powdery or friable surface with Stabilizing Primer. Seal porous surfaces or previously water painted surfaces with one part water to four parts of INSUL8ED Emulsion Paint, or two parts water if substrate is very porous. FINISHING Apply by brush or roller 2 coats of Insul8ed Matt Emulsion.

Application

BRUSH AND ROLLER For maximum obliteration, apply unthinned in 1 coat. To obtain the traditional application and spreading properties, thin by adding up to 1 part of water to 4 parts paint and apply2 coats. When applying by roller unthinned, stir the paint to a smooth consistency before pouring into the roller tray.

Storage

Use within 12 month of delivery. Keep in original containers until required for use. Partly used containers should be re-sealed securely and stored according to the recommended manner. PROTECT FROM FROST.
