TECHNICAL DATA SHEET SX MIGHTY STRENGTH GRIP & GRAB ADHESIVE An incredible, instant grab adhesive based on MS polymer technology. It has initial bond strength double that of most other grab adhesives and bonds to vertical surfaces without slippage, eliminating the need for secondary support on the majority of applications. Can even be used on damp or wet surfaces, is solvent free and cures quickly. It is water, frost and heat resistant from temperatures of -40°C to +90°C meaning it can be used externally as well as internally. An excellent alternative fixing adhesive which remains flexible, that replaces nails, screws and other mechanical fixings. USES - Suitable for bonding most building substrates but in particular, for fixing of large panels, wallboards and mirrors. Ideal for bonding brick slips, claddings and sanitary fixtures. Can also be used to fix dado rails, windowsills, decorative mouldings; it will adhere to virtually everything including wood, natural stone, mirrors, concrete, metal, mortar, bricks, gypsum and glass. COLOURS: White PACKAGING: 290ml cartridge - packed 1 x 12 PREPARATION - Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other loose material. APPLICATION - Cut the cartridge seal and screw on the pre-cut ‘V’ notched nozzle which must be used to ensure correct depth of adhesive is extruded. We recommend that a good quality skeleton gun is used due to that, by its nature, the product is stiff to gun. Apply the adhesive on one surface only in vertical strips, approximately 1020cm apart. Immediately place item into position with good, even pressure to give an excellent initial grab. On extremely heavy items, temporary support may be necessary during the curing process. Mechanical fixings should always be used in overhead applications. HEALTH AND SAFETY Contains N-(3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl)ethylenediamine, N-[3(dimethoxymethylsilyl)propyl] ethylenediamine, dioctyltinbis (acetylacetonate). May produce an allergic reaction. Safety data sheet available on request. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not take internally. Use only in well ventilated areas. If after inhalation one feels unwell then supply fresh air. After any skin contact wash off immediately. After eye contact wash open eye for several minutes under running water. If any symptoms persist consult a doctor and take the cartridge with you. Dispose of empty packaging responsibly. LIMITATIONS - Among others, not recommended for applications on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, neoprene and bituminous substrates. Not recommended for continuous underwater applications or expansion joints. Not suitable in combination with chlorides (pools). Yellowing may occur in the dark. Not suitable as joint sealant. Not paintable with alkyd resin paints. Porous surfaces may require a primer. Adhesion tests prior to application are recommended. It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability. Store between +5˚C and +25˚C in cool, dry conditions. LIABILITY - The information given is the result of our tests and experience and is believed to be accurate and reliable.
