Technology November Newsletter

Dear Parents, October was so much fun in Technology! Your children are loving coming to Technology Class every week! The children ask all the time if they can come to Technology. The two year olds explored shapes, letters, and colors on the iPads. The threes and fours continued on their ABC Mouse learning path, traced their names on the iPads and learned to spell their name using the keyboard. They are learning so much and are getting very good at using the computers and iPads. Some children have even told me how they are getting to play on the computers at home with you! In November, we are going to go on a virtual field trip to Plymouth Rock! The children will get to see the homes people lived in during the First Thanksgiving and the different foods they ate. After they complete the virtual field trip, the children will enjoy getting to read along with a Pete the Cat story online. In their classrooms, children will be learning about health and nutrition. To support the learning process in the classrooms, in Technology I will be using an app on the iPads that encourage the children to match foods that are healthy vs unhealthy.

Communication is key! I hope your children share with you all they learn at school. If not, ask them!

I am so proud of each and every one of the children. They are learning so much and are very enthusiastic learning how to use technology. I hope the children have been sharing with you all they have learned!
