As an eCommerce Business Analyst you will be a key player in the eCommerce project team to deliver the project roadmap, ensuring all initiatives are fully aligned with and support the business strategy. This role is primarily focused on the relationship between the eCommerce functions, our systems integrator, internal teams and relevant third parties, ensuring user requirements are understood and clearly documented. Reporting to the Lead eCommerce Business Analyst, the eCommerce Business Analyst will work closely with the Lead BA and Project Managers to deliver key projects prioritised on the roadmap, and will be involved in various different work streams. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and pick up in-flight projects, as well as work on projects from initiation through to completion.

Main Responsibilities:         

Build and maintain effective relationships with the eCommerce team, broader internal teams, our systems integrator and third parties. Act as a point of contact between the business, our systems integrator and third parties for project initiatives Elicit business requirements through the use of workshops with the business stakeholders and systems integrator Document project requirements through the writing of user stories supported by explicit acceptance criteria Create any relevant as-is and to-be process flows/swimlane diagrams for projects Alongside Lead BA, review and sign-off solution designs presented by the systems integrator Create and execute user acceptance test scripts Work with others in the eCommerce project team help improve project delivery techniques and project documentation Understand current business processes and recommend changes to help the business

Tools of the Trade…..    

Business analysis experience working within an eCommerce function Solid understanding of eCommerce web platforms (preferably Hybris) Experience of software development tools, such as Jira Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle

Relevant degree qualification Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and third party suppliers Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills – customer driven Ability to manage and prioritise workload potentially comprised of multiple projects Ability to translate business requirements into operational requirements for developers Able to work strongly as part of a team or individually Drive, enthusiasm and passion for eCommerce - an interest in fashion is preferable
