These words are expressions of blessing shared by many of you at Parish Life meetings in recent months. You responded to the questions, How has FPC been a blessing in your life? and What is something you value about FPC? Interspersed with your words are Jesus’ words, the red letters, under which we stand. As we celebrate our newly remodeled space, these words, both gray and red, remind us of the love and common ground we share, and God’s goodness to us. Give thanks to THE WORD, Jesus Christ, who is Lord and head of this church, and through whom we have a future and a hope. Extra Joy for the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! For the Advent and Christmas seasons, the Sanctuary Choir would like to invite all who love the “Sounds of the Season” to join us for Advent and Christmas, including the annual Lessons and Carols service. For more information, please contact Greg, [email protected], or come join us Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room. We look forward to seeing you there! Giving Tree This Christmas, the FPC Nursery, Children’s Ministry and Faces of Children invite you to help spread joy and love to mothers and children living at the Safe Place and Genesis Center shelters in Midland. Through the month of November, we will have a Giving Tree set up in the new Commons area of our church. Please stop by our Giving Tree with your children and choose an ornament and make a contribution together. Please take the ornament home and hang it on your own tree to serve as a reminder to pray for these families this Christmas.
